Ian MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics & Management) and a Master of Arts (Economics) from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada and a PhD from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
Today Ian manages the academic programmes for the Commerce Faculty as well as lecturing in economics.
When he's not at the university Ian enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, as well as coaching his son's cricket team. He enjoys skiing and would love to find the time to play more golf. Member of NZ Association of Economists.
